Next month my wife and I should be closing on our house. One of my first projects I'd like to do is to put in a large gravel parking pad beside the garage for my trailer which is currently in storage. Anyway, to do this I would need the following at some point: A combo backhoe/loader or a skidsteer (Bobcat), a compactor (I'd prefer a roller for ease, but that's a long shot), and a dump truck or dump trailer.
I know I can rent all this stuff, but that gets expensive. I have experience operating/driving everything but the roller. I have a truck that can tow pretty well, as long as it's not a gooseneck or 5th wheel (it's a diesel Excursion) so pickup/delivery isn't a problem. Let me know if you have any of this stuff, and maybe we can work something out for a days use.
This will save me $60/month in storage for the trailer, and give me the use of the trailer much easier. Plus I will be able to park my truck on the gravel instead of the driveway, so I don't get oil everywhere (at least until I can get my leaks fixed...)
