Does better polyp extension on sps equal health ??

So here is the question for sps masters,

Does better polyp extension on sps corals mean better health and growth ??

The short answer is...probably. In some circumstances if the PE is absolutely insane the coral could potentially be starving and searching for nutrients, which is not conducive to health and growth.

Tin, some sps born with shaggy polyps and some not. Try to view them during night time they should be all extending it not they are not in best of health, dont expect this on tiny frags you might see some extension but not in the fullest.
