dogs need a new home

I recently moved and things arent working out with my dogs. One of them is a female chocolate lab that just turned 3 a couple weeks ago and the other is a 9 year old chihuahua toy fox terrier mix that looks like a puppy german shepherd. They both have had all there shots and I could provide medical records. They're great dogs and I hate to get rid of them but like I said, things just aren't working out at the new house.

If anyone is interested let me know. I figured I would post it on here because all of you are animal lovers. I wont just give them to anyone. I will have to meet you and your family so I know they will be in good hands. My cpu is down right now so I cant post pics but I can send yhem to your phone if you pm me your number.

i cant let my wife see this we have a 3 yr old lab mix . im sorry u have to get rid of em good luck man

The dogs are obviously not happy at the new house. The old house had a huge backyard and now theres virtually nowhere for them to run. We now live in a townhome and the association doesn't allow dogs to be off the leash which sucks because my lab loves to play. She walks around with her frisbee all day and I feel awful that I cant play with her the way that I used to. Ive had both dogs since thy were pups so its not like I just got them and want to dump em. My wife and I agree that this is best for them.

Easier said then done. I dont live in yuppyville so Its not like I have dog parks all around me and I really cant afford $50 a day to send 2 dogs to daycare.

With all do respect, I didnt really ask for anyones opinion. I only asked. If anyone wad interested in a dog.

Sorry to hear that bro...good luck with everything. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to have a dog at all in my apartment.

If you were interested in letting your dog go to a good home, you might have served your initiative better by posting this in the marketplace under the appropriate section instead of the general discussions LOUNGE section.

We were only trying to provide you with viable suggestions and options for you to perhaps keep your dogs, assuming your intentions and sincerity were honest. If Daisy and I were ever in this situation, I'd be scrambling for and exploring every option I could that would allow me to keep her, as she is an integral part of my family.

I don't live in Yuppyville, but there are plenty of spaces for her and other dogs to roam unleashed in the city where there are very tough leash laws. Her daycare option is $400 a month, which I took her out of because it wasn't economical for me and I have other socializing and exercising options. But if that were not the case, she means enough to me that I would be willing to pay that small price for the value and enrichment that is brought to my life by her as my companion, as she is not JUST a dog. Considering how much money we throw at our tank setups, livestock and boxes of salt, it should not be a difficult decision, with all due respect.

With all due respect, I agree 100% with this statement. I have two KIDS of my own and I would turn this world around to make sure they never left my side and to give them anything. But I do understand that not everyone sees pups as family or something that important. They are just pets or dogs for some. Either way like I said they are yours and it's your decision. Good luck and I really hope you can do the best for them.

I could NEVER give up my dog for ANY reason. I'd find a way to keep him happy. You have no idea what it does to a dog to be displaced from it's home & pack.

Well, I don't live in yuppyville either and there are plenty of dog parks in my area. Too many people give up on their pets too easily. I have 3 pits and wouldnt give them up for life of me. All 3 are rescues, cause someone gave up on them. They are family. This is the reason shelters and rescues are overwhelmed. Quite honestly, I don't give a **** if anyone asked for my opinion, I'm givin it. I hope you find them a good home. GL.
