I need to some help.
I need to drill my 29g BC for overflow. Anyone around here in Chicago can drill my tank. I'm willing to pay some for your time..
Thanks

where in chicago are you if your close enough we can still it this weekend if you can't find anyone.else

I might add also it's risky glass is pretty thin but possible I can lend you the still but even so I can still if you like

to be honest I'd feel much better if you drilled it when I did mine it was kinda scary but went well I'd hate for yours to crack on my hands you know I'm by no means a tank drilling expert let me know I'm kinda far as well if you can't get a pro to drill it might be best let me know tho

I've drilled 4 holes on two tanks As long as u start on an angle and drill at high speeds in intervals of 30 sec with lubricant being sure not to heat the glass you will be fine. Oh, don't put pressure; otherwise it will chip inside tank. I worry more about cracking tank when u plumb it. If u wiggle a bit too much you can crack your tank. I've learned this lesson. (: good luck

Not sure if he is on here but over at RC (runningreefing) is the man when it comes to drilling tanks.

Some say the drill bit doesn't do the cutting but rather his voice telling the glass to get outta dodge in the affected area. (sorry my lame attempt at a stig joke)

+ 1 for runningnreefing. He drills the tank makes the overflow box and he can plumb it for u. contact him for pricing.
