whats the best place to put a hole on a 40B? And best size as well. I can do a 1" drain with the hole saw I have but was thinking maybe a 1 1/4" drain. any thoughts?

What type of overflow are you doing i think 1" is plenty imo for whatever u do placement all depends on your overlow design i guess

problably a corner setup. I guess I could do a duraflo with a 1" bulkhead. But its gonna have to go thru the back and low on the tank. Mostly I have put bulkheads at the top, straight out the back with a strainer but I dont want to see the pipe this time.

Hit up a lfs with the measurements thats what i did i have one piece from my last order its 14*6 i used the other two pieces for a frag rack

Just thought of it maybe that krylon fusion paint will work on acrylic never tried it on it but worked great on my pvc

I wouldn't recommend it. I have tried in the past, and it chips very easily even after extensive cure times. I have had slightly better luck sanding it rough and then painting, but even then the result is not great.

def chips easy. the rougher the sand the better. it seems like only the big chunks fall off. rough sanding makes a lot of little chunks
