dsb vs miracle mud

When I finally get a chance to set up this fuge for my frag tank should I use a dsb or miracle mud? What are some good recommendations? I want to do a whole eco system like fuge with all type of different algae and mangroves.pics and advice would be appreciated.
 
I say a DSB at 6".... Was going to use a 2.5gal with miracle mud inside my 10gal sump.. But haven't had time :rolleyes: Seen a small pico with a shot glass full of mud..lol!! That was funny!!

But seen to many threads regarding the mud and was just a waste of cash.. Also will cloud a tank when moved.. But I'm still looking for a small betta tank to give it a try in the sump vs 2.5gal
