sorry guys new with the forum thing not sure if picture will work, but I got a 90gal 29 biocube and 33gal long all in one 40gal sump so far its working out great things are looking good. planning on adding one more cube tank to put a neon green carpet anemone .
 
Wow. What do you do to prevent overflowing your sump when power turns off? When extra water from all 3 tanks dumps into 1 sump?

I had the same question I know my 2 nanos put quite a bit of water back into my 55 sump
 
Nice setup Edin. Do you have multiple return pumps or just one?

I have a similar setup; QT, DT and nem tank all into one 27 gal sump. They can all shut off and empty into the sump without overflowing. Did take some careful planning but works well.
 
check valve on the 90, and the biocube has overflow box id water stop it stops as well and the intake is as shown in picture it siphens air and stops, as for the 33 long thats the only one that drains some water in sump but not that much I have the loc line close to the surface.
 
You should invest in one huge return pump to cut down on electricity. Just a suggestion especially since you plan on adding another system. Tanks all look awesome though!
 
This is exactly why I don't get how come I still have that plumbed 20g I'm trying to get rid of! Perfect for a system like this.

Thanks man, Im one of the lucky one I don't have to pay for the electricity :-) thank god because it would cost a lot there are three MH and other few pumps two skimmers...
 
I don't pay for electric either! Or water lol that one kills my parents.. my dual display build is really gonna screw up bills now. Lol
