Even the pros face FW problems...

"They are sending the water to be tested to find out what it is that killed the fish."

I can almost guarantee they'll find a spike in ammonia. I'm thinking they didn't account for the die-off effects of the flatworms themselves. Once the first fish died, it just caused a cycle of more and more ammonia being released.

That seems to be the case with flatworm treatments from what I have seen on this forum

I've never used flatworm exit or similar products for this reason. I've always found that a good collection of wrasses will solve the problem!

This is why I plan on getting a couple wrasses for my fw problem

Just get the right ones fairy wrasses wont put a dent in fw population they will eat them but not hunt em like other wrasses they mainly will wait to see them in water column . Imo best hunters r red corris wrasses and formosa wrasses which look same as red almost juvies r little darker adults r asome looking . They r always hungry and hunting u can find em relitivly small and like 20$ range as adults will eat cuc but u could always get rid of em later after they take care of your issue . I have one in my reef now hes always hunting my cleaner shrimp and pistol and one crab r still around and not hiding so hes no bugging em yet but hes probably a inch and half big but can eat as much as my big tang lol just a thought. Ive seen people buy yellow corris and fairy wrasses thinking they help but they keep population at a steady number just never get rid of them completly some even reported yellow corris getting so use to hand feeding they dont hunt no more so useless
