One of the leagues I normally played in isnt running this year. Was wondering if there would be enough people on here interested in playing? free just for fun
 
sounds good to me once we get everyone interested together we can do a poll or whatever see what people want to play for as long as its not a large buy in lol

Once enough people and a league is formed then there's a draft. Each league is different but one way is qb passing is 25 yards=1 point. Passing/rushing/receiving touchdown is 6 points. Punt/kickoff touchdown interception for touchdown fumble for touchdown is 6 points. Interception is negetive points of its you qb. Positive points of its by your defense. Rushing is 10 yards=1 point. Reception yards 25=1 point. And many more was to keep track of points. Usually a team is starting 1 qb, 1 (or 2) rb , 2 (or 3) wr, 1 kicker, one te, one defense. Points are also earned for good defense play or lost as they allow points. And kickers get more points the longer the fg
 
Might be easiest to schedule to be an online draft where all involved can be online at same time to draft. But I've never done that way before so in not sure how it works.
 
I agree, online draft would be the easiest. I have done an online draft before and its pretty simple. The gm just sets a time and date the draft will take place, then all the members sign in and it takes them straight to the draft. Then you pick your players and the season begins! If someone would not sign on then the computer picks the players for you.
 
I would be more open to everyone putting up a frag rather than a $20 buy in though. Work is the slowest it's ever been right now.
 
Hard part would be how would it be decided what frag would be good value to be a buy in. And how would it be collected? Wait till the end then everyone under 3rd place have to give a frag to the top 3? Which ones give to who? What is everyone's thought of how using a frag buy in work?
 
We could just play for fun for all I care. I'm sure we can figure something out though. Everyone put up a frag with a pic that they are going to put up as a buy in? I'm not concerned with value really. Maybe we all meet up at the end for a few beers or whatever and bring the frags with? Idk.
 
I would be in for $20. If its done for free people only play the first half of the season and last time I was in a frag league half the people didnt offer up a frag at the end.
 
I'll set up the league we will play through yahoo lets try for a 12 man league seems to always be more fun cause the schedule runs deeper then, seems like there might be some newer people which always makes for fun too cause they always get that beginners luck haha. once we get the set 12 we can do a poll for what we want as the prize to be whether a frag which I agree would be a little harder or a 5, 10, 15, 20 buy in and see what wins in the poll. Everyone that has said they want in just pm me your email address and I will send the league invite. Definately very easy to just do the draft online as long as everyone signs in and we arent waiting for each turn to time out the draft goes pretty quick too online compared to in person.

Going to just go with yahoo standard scoring and a swing position seems to be the most common amongst friendly leagues these days. no trade or moves fees nothing like that just the simple cheap buy in and fun after that no worrying about having to pay to drop and add players.

I personally think if we just all threw in a small set amount and got a gift certificate to a lfs then no one has to be the guy holding the money or anything and we can always do more than one gift certificate for 1st 2nd 3rd whatever

Last year the other league i commished I bought the winner a pretty cool 18" trophy as bragging rights that now gets passed on every year kind of like a stanley cup haha makes for more trash talking and fun if you ask me lol
