feather duster lost its' feather duster

i guess I severely stressed ti when I brought it home saturday. Just now I found the fethery part (crown I think) in my MP10. I hope it grows back. . . Anyone else have that happen?

It happen to mine and it died not saying that would happen to yours my godfathers did the same but grew back

Would anyone happen to know how long it will take before I should expect to see it again? If I knew it was dead I would take out the base to avoid a potential spike.

mine took a few weeks and A very long time to grow back

Give it some time it will grow back. Normally they lose their crowns and I dont think you will have any potential spike. This happened to me couple of times too.

For the record I just noticed a new crown peaking out on the duster today. 12 days or so.
