Fish trek from Japan to US

Saw this on CNN. Fish survived a trip from Japan to Long Beach, Washington.
Wonder if there will be a new invasive species or are the temps too cold for them up there?

You know you're a Chicago reefer when you read that title and thought that the Hoosiers were coming to Chicago over the weekend for a LFS stakeout!

What kind of LFS is in IN? Only one that I've heard of is Inland Aquatics. I've seen on youtube through BlueZooTv. Think it would be fun to go to Long Beach, Washington and dive up there to see if any invasive species from Japan have survived that kind of trek and are in the ecosystem up there.

Not worried about people that live in Indiana, there's plenty of stuff to go around at the LFS's. I'm all the way out by Sycamore.
