Fixed my drag car and new Best time.

Many of you know i'm a car nut,well after spending the last few weekends fixing my car i finally finished the motor and got my new slicks in. All motor work was done by me and i'm happy to say that my little 4cylinder car ran it's best pass ever.

I ran an 8.63@161 mph!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been wanting to get out to rt 41 my buddy has a chevelle he got that he hasn't even driven around the block. I no this past sunday was street car chaos idk how it went tho

It's an automatic,have to stall up the convertor,sometimes it takes a second or 2longer. E.T doesn't start till i trip the beams,so R/T won't affect actual E.T.

1990 eagle talon awd.
2.0L 4cylinder motor
aluminum rods/forged pistons
garrett gt4294R
75shot nitrous

IPT automatic trans
10'' convertor 5200RPM stall
K-sport suspension.

run was at 47PSI.


All work done by me,even the machine work. Hmm i think that's it.
 
Turbo guys always have an excuse. :D Will a transbrake work for you or do you have to launch off your brakes to spool your turbo? Don't run brackets off a foot brake unless your really predictable.

I had 15 spare tickets for rt 41 for Sunday. Didn't even think of offering it here. I will keep that in mind next time I get freebies
 
Yesterday i went back to the track and went faster. 8.2@165mph!!!! I'm super happy. I think the car is near it's limit at this point. Crossing the line at 8600rpm.
