What type of food has everyone experimented with for mixed reef setup? I have tried a few different brands and i believe i found the one i like. My soft corals seem to be multiplying and in better health after using this food source. The food is olio from reef2land company. It has been awesome so far.

I found it listed on ebay and jumped out the window by ordering it.

I don't really feed my corals besides fish poop. Every now and then, I throw in some Reef Roids and the corals all slime, so I assume they like it. I just don't want the extra mess.

Im trying to get photosynthetic PE same as lights out PE. Ive seen other tanks with great PE during bright light schedule.

Still tweeking with mine havent been able to get them to extend to where they look hairy

i mixx up ..
one cube mysis, some reef chilli and some reef roids and pour it all in with one mp10 working and returns of for about an hour. i get good response i think ..

i also tried Docs eggs and completely hated it .. its only usable for limited time (some weeks dont remember now) and feeding small amount is really messing with my nitrates and phos .. and tank smells like $hit .. never getting docs eggs again.

Then your heaters are in the DT? Im assuming as if i turned off the sump...the temp would drop to about 74 where the ambient temp is.

Good catch but i didn't think 50 gallons of water would drop from 79 to that low in just an hour ..

Ill have to check next time
