So I have a big rbta....approximately 9-10"" across and I noticed a strange formation on the inside of the anemone by the mouth.....looks like some kind of growth....it is a about 1-2" and sticks up...don't know if it is from the clowns or what....any ideas?

The nem....the growth I just noticed...so maybe a week or two...been super busy working so I haven't had a chance to keep an eye on my tank

The formula one pellets should be ok right......I mean the fish eat them.....I would think they wouldn't hurt the nem

I haven't ever seen the angel even look at the nem...its a coral beauty

I would just keep an eye out on the beauty. CBs are known to be big nippers. Other than that it could be a new tentacle growing or a tentacle shrunken up. I wouldn't worry too much if the nem is acting normal.

The only things I.have in the tank is a pair of clowns.....bg chromis...coral beauty....yellow watchman...pistol shrimp...3 blue hermits...7 nassarius....3 astreas and 1 Mexican turbo

Yeah nem seems perfectly normal...didn't know if this was signalling a split

Personally I'm NO expert with nems but I do have a couple. It could be a sign but you won't truly know till it splits. The moment you least expect it they usually do it. LOL
