Found this in Cecily's fuge tonight Id help.

I have no idea what in the world this could be. Help us out if any of you guys might know what this is.

Woah, I'd guess a clutch of eggs just based on structure, but is it moving? Can you take another pic with a size ref? What does it do if you poke it? I'm intrigued.

Hmmm too shiney to be a sponge, I mean sponges come in all sorts of random colors but I think you have yourself a pile of empty eggs. Notice a high number of crabs, shrimp, snails in the tank? This eveing after the ligts go out get yourself a flashlight and see if anyone new is swimming, crawaling around. Cool find!
 
Its squishy. I'd give it the consistency of an over cooked egg white. I didn't touch it with my hand though - I saw pods swimming in the holes and under it last night and they were big and they freak me out a little. Its too early for that. Lmfao. I kind of lifted the edges and I think I'd be able to take it out of there. When you poke it, pods come out. Huge pods.

Its not moving.. but it has gotten bigger.

After I part the last part.. and I felt lame.. I decided that I was going to touch it. So I did.. and it feels exaclty like a bit over cooked eggwhites.

The only thing I've ever had down there (knowingly) was my emerald crab.

It definitely doesn't look like that. Its very flat. I looked at pictures of tunicates this morning to find nothing that looked like what I have. Its very flat and thin.

Today Brandon did notice a SHIP TON of these..

Thanks! That's been in my tank since I got it though, and I googled all different types of snail eggs - and that's not where they're coming from. :\

I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THAT IS.
