Frag tank finally up and running

This is one of Will Lutmans cubes he builds. I bought it about 5 months ago and just got it running. Im not sure if I want to keep it bare bottom or add just a little sand around the rocks, What does every one think? View attachment 19235
 
Ok so my buddy has frag tank set up running on same system as main tank whole system is like 90 gal total with 2 fish. When he had barebottom in frag tank the egg crate grew crazy hair algae. He ended up putting sand no longer has algae problem maybe coincidence idk just a experiance i know of .
 
thanks guys I think Im going to do a little of both sand around the rock and bare around the edges I just hate to buy a a big bag of fine sand for the couple pounds I need.
 
It kinda turned into a nem tank there is a scarlet nem behind the rbta, makes me mad the spot it chose because you cant see it unless you look from the side or top,
