My first zoa I have put in my tank has now took over one of my rocks and won't stop growing.
I can not take out the rock to cut them. Is it ok to cut them underwater. I don't care if it dies after cutting them. Just want them out.
Will It effect my others corals?

The stalks are so huge. Seriously like the size of my thumb. Can I just cut it near the rock and toss them. Here some
Pics. I was trying to get them to all close up so I can take a good look. Their not mating there just growing new polyps off each other's stalks.

following cuz i have some ugly zoas i want to scrape off too. ugly ones grow like weed and the expensive stuff melts like butter....sigh.

I have cut/just ripped them out before. Pink and golds grow like weeds and when ever they transfer from the rock they are on I just put on gloves and rip the polyps off.

Side note are the lemon drops from me? If so are they the ones from almost a year ago?

I would frag it for sure. I'm waiting for my frag rack to come in and then I'm gonna try to frag it. Really nervous about cutting them tho. I will deft let you know. Or I'll bring the frag plug to you and you can cut your self a frag. Haha.

You can also try picking them individually with a pair of tweezers. That's how a remove annoying corals sometimes. Just grab the base and pull.
