Frustrated with this B**** Snowflake

I bought this clown a few weeks back and since have added all my livestock to the tank from my nuvo 8. This clown that has taken dominancy in the tank is starting to bully me around. I have not and cannot put my hand in the tank. She full on charges me and bites me. "dont be a ***** dude, it cant hurt" Bull Crap! She gets me between the webbing on the softer skin on top every time. Not to mention the fact that she wont stop. She will continue to bite untill i remove my hand.

Ive had other clowns before and they always had the reputation for nipping but this fish has raised the bar. If i can go in a arrange stuff then i think shes gonna be in the fs section soon. How do you guys deal with biting in larger tanks? Like a puffer or tang comin after ya.

Keep a small net in the other hand while working in the tank, and every time she comes near you, wave the net towards her...or else, flick your finger at her, it may seem crude, but it wont hurt her. Good luck. Mine bit me once, and once he didn't eat for a week, I've never been bitten again since.

i bought a pair of those superman shoulder gloves. My crazy occy stays clear when those are in the tank. Say goodbye to delicate trimming or anything requiring more dexterity than shrek has though.

woa, i like that trick. mine are ravenous, if they get a good spot on my upper arm, or a scab or sumthin it can kinda hurt. its def annoying tho

+1 for placing the net in the tank. It's like the vacuum cleaner with dogs :) I had a maroon clown that was vicious and broke skin too. People don't believe that cute little clowns can be such jerks!!

I just went in to move a few things around and flicking is helping. I flick and chase her until shes a bit exhausted. She still keeps a close eye on me tho.

Lololol...the war has begun. She'll eventually get used to you, as long as you continue to establish dominance inside the tank and not let her have it. I can literally touch my clown fish hosts and he won't do nothing but watch.

she jump a few inches outta the tank coming after me. My old clown that went to Krishna's place with the Nuvo was really awesome. Never had any problems.

i need to start ruling with an iron fist like smitty

Hahaha...I had to do the same thing with my gf's cat. She's an evil, arrogant b!t@h, but now she totally respects and listens to me more than her own owner(my gf). I will not let something that I have to feed have any type of control(kids included). :)
