Hi all.

So here is my build thread, at this point this is more for me as it is for you guys. :)

I will update and keep track of this with all my plans. feel free to add comments. My equipment list will be here as well.

My first plan of attack is to get a new custom stand. Here is what I have planned so far. rough outline subject to change dramatically. (just made this at work.)

Equipment.

Tank: Elos Midi
Stand: Custom
Sump: 20L
Lights: EcoTech XR30 Pro or AI Vega
Flow: MP10wES x2
Controller: Neptune Apex or Reef Angel
Skimmer: Unknown
Top Off: Tunze ATO
Dosing: Vertex 3 Pump System
Reactors: Unknown

This build will take me awhile, and I got to plan out my equipment first so I can continue to build around it. I was going to use the Elos Sump but decided that I did not like the compartments and it would make more sense for me to custom build my own sump so that I can create the department sizes I need. I'd rather build the Stand/Sump around the equipment then the other away around.

Thanks all.

To go into more detail on my stand. My thought was, in Florida I always have a back patio, and a garage, well in the city I don't have those. So I want to create a shelf life system around the tank with tile so, lets say I want to frag my zoas, I can do so right there then just wipe it down. The doors will be completely removable with hinges. This way I can have max space to tinker around. I also need to make sure the stand fits through a standard door of course. The sump will go long ways inside the stand to create plenty of room on the other side for other stuff.

Now I might do the stock Elos stand. 358 from Jesse + Shipping for a new one compared to trying to get a Custom one. Couldn't get in touch with custom wood worker.

That's alot just for a stand, IMO. Can someone local just build you one that's basic. Dom has a contact I beleive. Scotty is also good with his hands.

I need fourm names! :)

I'm going to hand clean everything this weekend, then take some pics.
