Ghost eel

Ate my sand sifting Goby. I saw it happen but didnt stop it because it would have happened eventually. Should i have seen this coming? Will a bigger Goby work better?

Oh wow,i have a white ribbon eel at work and he never messes with any fish,must have been a tiny gobie.Maybe a bigger gobie will be fine.

Eels are ALWAYS hit or miss. Some are more likely to kill fish though (their natural diet). You can tell by the shape of their teeth. Long sharp teeth = fish eater. Flat rough pads crustacean/mollusk eater who may still go after fish after they get larger.
