Gloves

I have the coralife gloves. I use them a lot for vacuuming and maintenance but they are no good for delicate work.

LOL. You two KILL me.

I thought about getting these gloves, but dexterity is quite important to me in my small setup so these were a no-go for me.

I have the coralife ones also. Work great for non delicate work. To thick to feel thru and strong enough to move live rock without any worries and they are definately waterproof.

Yup +1. They're very thick and bouyant. They make it really hard to move your hands through the tank. I bought a pair used them once and now they're in the basement.

I have the coral life ones, I used to use them when sticking my hands in the Fowlr tank, since my old clown trigger used to love nibbling on my hand. But it is true there is little to no dexterity in them.

My buddy is a veterinarian at a dairy farm and has gloves for entering a cows rear that go up to the shoulder. They're non latex, plastic, soft enough you can feel what you're touching. Rock will rip little holes in the fingers, but I HATE getting stung by corals and my hand swells up. They work good, I get made fun of a lot and they call them butt gloves! I have a ton of them now, but they work great because I also hate contaminating the tank with whatever soap is on my skin, lotions, etc. they go to the shoulder so arms, clothing or anything is protected especially going deep in a tank.

I use powder free nitrile gloves. They are tougher than regular latex gloves but they are a snug fit so you can feel things. Then again this will only cover your hands and not your whole arm. If they are for regular maintenance and wc, the Coralifes or Tunzes might be worth it for you since you itch up.

I've been looking for those forever! If you can get a line on a website I would really appreciate it. There are times when I want to reach in and fix something when I'm all dressed and stuff and it would be so nice to just have some disposables for quick work.
