Hi Guys-

Taking a goby poll for my 12g nano. I like all these but will be limited to 2 or 3 at most. I will also like to keep a pistol shrimp with one of these gobies depending on which one I go with.

Pictures are from Aquacon & Liveaquaria website.

i'd get the flaming prawn goby.. it looks pretty sweet but i dnt if it has a symbiotic relationship with a pistol shrimp.. my second choice would be yasha goby..

also you should get a tiger pistol shrimp.. its has awesome color and would make your aquarium pop.. thats when u see it of course.lol

do NOT order from Aquacon - it's a scam. That being said, what about doing a cooler water tank and having a pair of catalina gobies?

I thought of those but don't know how to maintain the temp that low in the summer days.

Just throw ice cubes in the tank. That's how they do it on TV !!!

(joking)

We have gotten all of those in one time or another at the store and most of them are really shy. The red spotted and striped gobies were visible but very skittish, but the flaming prawn and panda gobies were almost never visible in our tanks. The yasha's are always very active and pretty bold for such a small fish. Just my experience.
