I've seen BIG reef tanks lit by a couple kessil tubes. They are very powerful for size, but to be safe get that clam lined up under the light to get most PAR on it for health.
you mean directly under the beam ??
its too strong ..i only turned it up like 40 percent and its like 3 times brighter than my pcs... i doubt clams can take that much light
Lol, unless you have par meter eyes, that's not a good way to measure how much light is going into your tank.you mean directly under the beam ??

Your tank is small enough and i think the loght is strong enough however i wouldnt wait to place a small rock under it it can and will thrive in the sand but they like to attatch the foot to a rock then bury in sand thats my opinion also hope you inspected the clam for those snails also move it closer to center of your tank in a area with moderate flow also make sure the vent is the lower end of the clam
