Is it legal to just collect rocks from the beach?
I watched the Brady Bunch and it's bad luck to take coral and rocks from Hawaii.
Lahaina? Maui ?
I never liked you !!!!!!
Don't sweat it, the Brady Bunch Tiki head is firmly planted in my life, you all are safe. You're welcome.
Lucky you, here in Chicago there was a big brawl at the beach (montrose), so the only thing you can find is beer bottles LOL Maui was extremely beautiful, clean, nice cars everywhere, expensive though (never buy anything from street vendors). I never felt safer from crime, the only dangers were cliffs, sharks, and green turtles. I literally walked out from my hotel room to the beach in 30 steps, past the girls wearing thongs, walked three feet into the water, stuck my head in and saw about 10 different reef fishes without getting my knee caps wet. All the water is protected so don't expect cheap seafood.

Never even thought of that, but I saw that too, and it would sway me to leave everything there. In The Brady Bunch I trust.
Seriously though, I wasn't trying to be a jerk, I just kinda doubted that it was legal to take rock from the ocean in Hawaii ( or similar places) without a permit of some type.
In reality everything is protected there . Is my favorite place . We took the catamaran snorkel trip to half moon bay and stayed at the Grand Wailea for a late Honey moon
I just heard its bad luck to take home sand. Everyone still brings home sand on their clothes though
