Haddoni in a bare bottom tank?

I'm thinking of going bare-bottom, but I have a Carpet Anemone. Anyone have experience with carpet anemone in sandless tanks?

My lfs had one in his tank and it Attatched to the bottom and the pvc racks.

I'm just afraid that without a deep sand bed, the haddoni might move around more often, get carried around by the flow and end up in my MP 40's. LFS are usually closed looped and don't have to worry about powerheads.
