Hair Algae Fight

I have been fighting a hair algae problem in my tank for a couple months now, tried snails, limited light, scrubbing the rock and it keeps coming back. I am thinking of adding a Micro Algae Reactor as I don't have space for a Refugium. I see there are many DIY options and a couple products from Aquatic Warehouse, Skimz and MD but wanted to get other opinions before I went this route or a chemical route.
 
Times I have/had hair algae it had a more general source. Too much light, nitrites, phosphates, flow etc. If I keep these in check, just have to scrape glass every few days. My 2 cents...
 
1. Get or make an algae reactor. To outcompete your display growth.
Or
2. Algae fix there should be a big right up on internet about how to use. This will get rid of the hair algae but you will have a hard time using the algae scrubber do to algae fix.
 
Definitely not over feeding, nothing is hitting the bottom they eat it to fast

I'm selling a biopellets reactor for $60 if you're interested. I have a post in the dry good sale section.
 
Make a Chaeto reactor. They work great. Let me know if you need Chaeto as I ship it for cheap. You can also tumble GFO in a reactor.
