Hammer coral shrinking!

My hammer coral started out very large at purchase , and has been slowly shrinking ever so slightly every day. I try to spot feed it every night with mysis, and all that happens is about 5 minutes after I feed it, the mysis somehow gets strung out and slowly gets drifted away. Everything in my tank is doing great, and I'm just not sure what might be going on here. I feed mysis twice daily, and phytoplex, microvert, and Azox every night. Any ideas/suggestions about what is going on?

Where do you have it in the tank? they do that with high flow and high light. they prefer low flow and low light. If lighting and flow isn't the issue, then check your water levels.

some corals just don't like to be fed that often... I think it's the same way with anemones, if it's overfed, it spits the food back out in a gooey blob
