Hammerhead Problem

Nobody can help you unless you post all the details.

When did you get it? How long has your tank been running? What other corals do you have? What is your lighting system, temp, are you dosing anything? What fish do you have? Where did you buy it from? What types of filtration? Do you have shrimp/inverts? What is the flow like? How did you acclimate it? How big is the tank?

Kinda looks half dead on the right side of the head its down to the skeleton(looks white and bare of the tentacles), did you buy it recently from a store? I see zoas or palys to the right of it. My australian orange hammers that I just bought from ShoTank the other day don't look like that when they shrink down into the skeleton.

Most of my hammers are at the bottom of my 220, except on that is about bottom and just below the middle of the tank. How high up do you have yours at, also how bright are your lights set at during day time hours? Also how much flow is on it, make sure its not directly in front of a powerhead or return area. Don't forget they have 6 inch sweeper tentacles and are aggressive, meaning they will battle other corals that they can reach close by.

Here's a link for a description with care info for hammer corals. Hope my info helps...

Yeah I second that we need more info to really help but it is definitely dying. The right side with just white skeleton looks as though there is no flesh left. IME wall hammers are very hard to save at this point. I've done iodine dips with some success but that's the problem with the fact that they are basically one giant head.
