Hello,

I am new to saltwater and looking into buying a bio cube 29. I'm going to be doing some more research before buying. Any recommendation or links you guys have for successful bio cube setup.

THANKS!

Just use the search feature. There are plenty of nice BC's on the site.

And Welcome!!

Welcome. If you look at the link in my signature for TOTM you will find links to some of the best reef tanks and all their equipment, parameters, etc. While a lot of the tanks are a lot bigger then a bio cube it can give you some ideas and at the very lest some inspiration.

hello welcome. I had 2 bio cubes at one point I suggest either buying one with led retro or swapping to led nice tanks but imo run hot cooked some shrimp once got so hot with the cf they come with fan upgrade is good idea too. that's was my only issue with them temp control

welcome. biocubes and nanocubes do run hot. either try topless or diy some leds. make sure to have some type of fans running over it. Look at intank media baskets if you want to run chaeto, chemipure, or purigen. maybe a mp10 if it is in your budget. since their motor is outside tank, it won't heat your water. Alot of people start out with cubes. Still got mine. there is alot of info on the web regarding mods for them. You can usually find a cheap used one on CL. Good luck and welcome again.

Welcome! Have 2 biocubes (14 and 29), recommend going LED, intank media basket and upgraded pump. Actually willing to part with my 29 if you' haven't gotten it yet.
