Hello everyone, been lurking for a bit, figured its time I joined.

Just picked up my first tank, not my first foray into salt. Well I guess you could say it is, my parents kept a 2?? gallon for most of my teenage years, but its been a while since then.

Fir now Ill be going nano until I can justify getting a bigger tank, but here she is in all her glory! 10 gallons of All in One glory(well sort of AIO) Got it as a floor model, never run so its the leak test first. Rock and sand to come very very soon.

Welcome.

I would like to advise you to get a nice live rock that's completely encrusted in coralline. It will season your tank by at least a year biologically and aesthetically.

Some reefers on this forum actually culture tubs of coralline rock for their next (unplanned)setup.

My tank is already packed, but I keep thinking about growing coralline!

Well so far my thoughts;

BRS Fiji Dry rock
Carib Sea Oolite

Livestock:
2 Snowflake Clowns for sure!
Thinking Hairy Pincushion Urchin (Purple or Halloween)
Goby of some sort
Unsure of CUC so far.

Hammer Coral
Acan Lord
Blassto perhaps
Not too sure on corals yet. Still thinking about what kinds, not a fan of the traditionals like Zoas or Mushrooms.
 
Got dry Fiji in from BRS so now the hard part (at least for me) Aquascape!.

I think ill take some shots tonight and start a build thread for this beaut!

So I think I finally have the aquascape set! All 4 rocks are flat cut on the bottom for added stability. Thoughts??????

Lights: This is the blue/white full brightness setting of course my phone really blows out the blues. Its not really that blue.
