Hello fellow mad scientists. Just got back into the hobby after a ten year break. Starting with a 28g nano cube. Have a few corals, fish and clean up crew. I meet a member of this forum at Midwest coral farm in Deerfield yesterday and they suggested I join. I'll miss that store for sure.

Looking forward to sharing info and getting back into the hobby.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! I updated my first post with some pics. I'll charge my DSLR and take some better ones. 1 Clown, 1 Neon Goby and 1 Blue Sapphire Damsel are my only fish. Also some random frags, haven't figure out placements for all of them just yet.

Herbie was it you I met yesterday at Midwest Coral Farm? They said they was from Round Lake, IL. I couldn't remember their forum name lol.

Steve when I was doing the hobby 10 yrs ago I had a fish only system. Corals kind of intimidated me. Also I used crushed coral with a substrate filtration system. Needless to say it only lasted about 2 yrs before things went down hill. Skimmers, live rock, live sand, refugiums, etc.. wasn't in the cards for me money wise since I was in college. I had a very inexpensive setup. It kind of put me off the hobby as my intention wasn't to kill anything.
