Just wanted to check in and say hi to everyone. New here but not to the hobby. Stepped away from the hobby for some time because life got to busy but I got that Itch again. I have had a reef tank or Fish only tank for about the past 25yrs but alot has changed in the last 5yrs since i have been gone.

My new project is in the planning stages but I am looking to do another large reef. Last one was a 300gal so not sure if I am going to go around the same size or larger this time. I am sure once I convince the wife and find the right spot to put it I will be asking a lot of questions about new products and so on.

Welcome Tom! We look forward to having your experience around here. A lot has changed, but the basics haven't. Ask away.
 
Not sure how much knowledge I have but I will help the best I can. I will try to get some picture together from my old tanks.

I did just purchase my new tank. Not as big as I had intitally thought but I found a 110rr on Craiglist that I could not pass up. I am picking it up tonight and will start the set-up this weekend.
