Guys i finally got everything moved in into my new house and made an awesome purchase on a 140 rimless sarfire. The problem is that my car is too tiny to move it over to my house. The tank is in orland park and i live in . Just looking to c if anyone can help a fellow reefer out. Thanks

Hi Salman. Not a bad dilemma; giant starphire rimless? Nice. If i were in your shoes I would hire a mover to do it. The reasons are because of insurance and the moving vehicle they probably have. Just my .02. Good luck..

I moved a big tank about 6 months ago, menards buy a 2 x4 and rent their flatbed truck for 75 minutes for like $20 :) looks like someone has a better option, but that was the cheapest option and unlike the real rental companies they always have what you want .

.. main thing is get alot of guys ,floor rollers (harbor freight has cheap ones) old blankets, carpet, or ideally a couple real moving pads and real straps, you wanna make hand holds when you wrap it to make it easy to move , and clear the path as best you can lol. good luck with the new tank
