Hello all,
These corals are in my show tank and they are getting noticably bigger everyday. Can someone help me identify them.

I am not sure what kind and variety of coral this is. I am referring to the thick fingered SPS to the mid-right. It is a bad photo

This is a bonsai acro and I do not know what variety. Anyone know what it is?

Thanks

The first one looks like a kind of stylo, very common. The second pic is too far to tell.Nice acros tho.

Top photo is a stylophora unless im mistaken, I have a piece of what looks to be the same thing, mine is just a large frag size piece thou.

Thanks.
It came off of about a 12" diameter colony.

As for the other photo. How about the second photo?
I am referring to the one on the middle-left of photo.
The one that is purple, cream color, green, w/ yellowish orange polyps.

Honestly it looks like a grown out acropora valida. I just recently sold several frags of a purple variety with bright neon green coralites. It also looks like a good majority of it needs more light, since only the freshest growth has vibrant coloring.

What kind of lighting are you using over your tank?

Good eye,
But I really vibrant colors, I took some black plexi-glass and used it as a shade so that I could get a decent photo without it being brightened out by the light.

I do not think it is an acropora valida because the branches are too smooth. I have not ever seen an acropora valida variety with smooth branching before.

A quick google image search of valida acros many of them have the same growth pattern as the one in your pics. And in fairness, a lot of them have a different growth pattern than yours as well. Was just my best guess from the pictures and comparing to the mini colony i had.

As for lighting,
I am using:
3 x 250 watt 15,000k
4 x 39 watt actinics
4 x 39 watt 453nm
1 x 45" moonvue LED Strip
2 x Simu-L Profilux Light Bars

All Bulbs are less than a month old.

What would you suggest?

I also believe it is valida or very similar. There are many similar species of validas sold around.

It does look like its not doing well.
How stable is your alk?
Can you get a closeup of the base? From one pic it looks like it could be aefw, which would cause it to be dull cream/brown.

My Phone camera sucks, I will break out the Canon EOS Mark III tonight. I do not like getting that camera near water, even if the water is contained.

I will post a better photo of it when I have the time.

Thanks again for all the input.
