Help! Why Skimmer Stop Working?

Woke up and my CPR hang on back skimmer was not working.

Took it and cleaned it out entirely. Still not working. I hear buzzing noise when I plug it in but NO BUBBLES!

Unplugged airway pipe and made sure it wasn't clogged with salt or anything else. Ran water through it.

Tried again and no luck.

Cleaned out the suction valve also just incase but it doesn't seem to be clogged either.

I put my finger over the suction valve and I do notice bubbles start to form. Or another way to get bubbles to start is putting the suction valve partially over water surface and I think the bubbles also start.

What can I do to fix this problem? And will emptying some water out of the cpr skimmer help in any way?
 
If you empty water out of the skimmer, its going to just fill right back up when you start it up again. Did you try to adjust the pink valve on the pump?
 
yeah i was gonna ask, is water flowing through it? lol. Try blowing into the air line to see if air goes into the pump.
 
sounds like u need a new pump... I just had to get a new one because it slowly went out on me. worked great before with 3 air lines then I went down to one but it barley worked. still produced some bubbles but not like before. the pump works to just wasnt as strong with the air going through it. my pump came in a few days ago and im only running 2 lines now and its working great, as if I had 3 lines in it. maybe im wrong but it sounds like the same problem I had

i think you may be right, i can only think of getting a new pump as of now.
 
Is air hose clogged if pump is pumping water just no bubbles then not pump my airline always got clogged with salt creep
 
Soak everything in vinegar water over night and then rinse, all the calcium build up should be gone.
 
The skimmer water is flowing, just no bubbles.

Also, the day the skimmer stopped working was the day I unplugged it the previous night( so it was off overnight). So it must correlate to needing it cleaned in some way. If i shut it off overnight it shouldnt stop working the next day right...
