Hi there. I'm a little newer to reefing and was wondering if someone can help me identify this. It looks like this coral somehow got bleached. Wasn't close to any corals. I've been trying to look everything up and all I've got so far is low light and low flow and feed twice a week. Any other ideas?

I've had good luck dipping "sick" corals in Coral RX. The healing effect was almost immediate.

Blastos, ime, tend to be finicky when their skeleton gets bumped. If the calcium skeleton was damaged in placement it can cause a head to really suffer.

Could be something nipping at it. Check for asterina starfish on the skeleton of the coral. I had some acan lords that we're exhibiting similar bleaching and recession and found 6-8 stars on the skeleton.
