Hey guys I have a few heads of utter chaos that I would like to frag off my plug, I wanna start like 2 or 3 more plugs that I can grow out for some other places to have if some one could help me with this that would be awesome I don't know how to frag them and I don't wanna kill them either

First off you want to get a pair of safety glasses and gloves. Zoas are toxic and can make you very sick if it gets into your bloodstream so glasses and gloves are a must. You will need Gel super glue regular can work but Gel kind is the best. The zoas should peel from the frag plug if not a razor blade can be used to removed them from the plug. Then place the zoas on a new plug apply a generous amount of glue at the base let dry for 30-60 seconds zoas can be out of the water for awhile they retain water. Then place in a low flow area of the tank as to keep them from coming loose and blow around your tank. also another option is to let them grow onto other plugs but that can take some time but zoas do move so depends

i agree with Aregen120 if anything do just one polyp and if all goes well do another and so on and so forth. No one is saying do all of them right now but like i said glasses and gloves and you'll do fine corals are a lot tougher then we give them credit for.

I always use lugols iodide solution when fraging. My success rate is great for the frag and main colony. Take a bowl with tank water and use the lugols (enough to turn the water to a tea color) place the main colony in the bowl , always use a new blade on your scalpel and place it in bowl also . Soak the new plugs on some regular tank water to get the air bubbles out of them . Now your ready to cut, make sure you cut between the polips thru the mat then scrap under polip taking a little of the plug or stone you are fraging from let fresh cut polip and main colony soak in lugols solution a couple minutes. Pat your new plug dry and put a few drops of gel super glue on the plug , with some tweezers or scalpel place the polip on top of the glue making sure polip is facing up and no glue gets around the top of the polip, place in solution a couple more minutes and place back in your tank it should be fully headed in about a week and if done right it will open in a day or so. Good luck and hope this helped.

Practice first on a cheap zoa because you might squish a zoa or two when you start out, +1 on the scalpel method

I'm with you xj_matt, not at all comfortable with Zoas.
I would add a face covering of some kind to the gloves and glasses. Actually I'd probably be most comfortable in a space suit after what I've read about poly toxin poisoning. I'm still shocked there's not more warnings or even talk about the nasty things that can and do happen. With polly toxin being one of the most deadly toxins known to man you would think there would be more in the way of legal concerns. Anyway if it were me I'd go with BroPar's second option and just let them grow on a new plug.

I usually take bone cutters and just cut the plug or rock as they fly across the room. Ha. The razor method is very easy as well. It's kinda hard to screw it up. Just cut the matted part. Wear protection. Heh.
