Help with ro unit

Well taxes are filled and it's gonna be a good return so....... GONNA BLOW IT ALL ON MY REEF TANK HAHAHAH

starting with replacing my Rodi unit. I bought an eBay unit. Which is good. But it's putting out about 2ppm. Is that ok? Was 0 but that didn't last long.

Ok. Question.

I have well water. I read about 270ppm out of the focet. The well water also runs through a softener and I want at least 90 gal per day unit. I see a lot of these units that have extra di on them. What would be best for me. With well water. Should I get extra di or extra carbon. Idk. I want a good unit that will last. The last unit I had before the eBay one was about 400 and it wasn't any better then my 100 ebay one. Imo. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good ro unit that will be designed best for well water. Price really isn't a big deal. But would like to not get ko by my wife. Thanks guys

You might want to contact spectrapure. Call or email them. They know RODI and will help tweak a system to get you what you want. Other than cost I've never heard anyone speak bad of them.

Yeah that's what I had before. I had a custom made unit. If took 6 weeks to get and was over 400$ and wasn't that great. What about brs. Can they custom

I have well water to and mine comes out of the tap at 800-1000tds I run duel sediment filters 2 carbon filters 2 membranes and a DI canister I tried running dual di a few times and it did not make the di last any longer. I also run a booster pump to increase pressure. I also rinse my filters when the pressure gauge goes down instead of changing them all the time because I would have to change them weekly if I didn't rinse them.

I just have one. EBay. Junk. I want a good one. I got permission too from the wife. Should I just use the sediment filters from the eBay one.

That doesn't look that bad at all I would use the three canisters and membrane holder for sure. You could probably buy a lower priced one from brs with the group buy and inexpensively have a bad a$$ unit. Do you have good pressure being on a well?
