Do you know how to keep the leather carpet anemone stay still in the tank?
my LCA moves around the tank every day. does she like strong water flow or not?
please let me know
thanks

How long have you had it for? How old is your Tank? It may be looking for a Spot with High Flow area. How much flow is going thru your Tank? Also if this is in your 20G Long I would not recommend a Carpet Anemonee for it..

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they readily care for a strong flow, more of a moderate/medium. Hopefully it settles down before it kills your other sessile inverts.

when it out of the flow, it stays still but when i add the flow to it then it starts moving...
I have a small LCA..about 4x4''.
I may move it back where it belongs at first introduced to the tank.
thanks

What in the world are u guys talking about?
LTA?Long tentacle anemone?
No such thing as a leather carpet anemone.
Please straighten me out here.

I would stop moving it or directing flow at it.

Let it go where it wants to go. It will find a place where it is happy and hopefully settle down.

Anemone's will go where they want, if you keep moving it, you will just stress it out of worse, damage it. Let it go to it's sweet spot and then you will just have to move corals around it. If you just got it, it might move around for a few days. You just need to watch out for it if you have powerheads in the tank because they might get blendered into the powerhead when they are moving around (sometimes they release their hold and float around).

I had a lta when I first started and I got it when my tank was only 2 months or so old "big mistake" lfs said your water is good and it should do fine in there, ya right, well it found a place after moving around for a couple of weeks and I thought it was going stay there "stayed a whole 3 days was even eating the pellets I dropped by it" but it didn't and one morning I got up early only to find my lta wedged in between the little grate on my korilla and needless to say it died. Now my system is almost 3 years old I just picked up another one "lta" 2 or so months ago and it planted its foot in the spot I put it "I just moved the substrate till I could see glass" and looks happy as can be. So needless to say I think the 1st one kept moving around because I did not have an established tank.

My tank is 20g long I don't know if I have enough room for it to move around..if anyone want it, you can take it for $25
thanks

I have my video of my 20g tank in here..you can take a look and see how it looks like.
