Help!!!

Already looked up zoa pox they said its more like a pimple under the skin ... These come off when scraped ... Only one frag has it... Thank god its not in my dt... Could it be nudi eggs?

I'm new to this and always like checking out the "omg wtf is going on with my corals" threads hahaha...so in this instance would it benefit from quarantining the frag? or is not something that would spread?

If it comes off like dust, I would dip it in a weak hydrogen peroxide solution. That should dissolve whatever is going on there and not harm the frag at all. After the hydrogen peroxide I would let it sit for a day and then dip in CoralRX.

And the bryopsis showed up about a day after having it ... I bought it from someone off this forum ... Not sure if I should say the name tho.. I had it for a couple weeks and debated on tossing it the whole time... I just don't want it to spread to other zoas in tank

Teds direction is on the money. I would use a cap full In a small container of fresh water around 90 degrees . I have even used tap water to get the benifit of the clorine.QUOTE=Tgunz127;38140]What ratio of hydrogen peroxide ... How much water to how much peroxide??[/QUOTE]

Please share the name. It is important for this information to be out in the open. The person who sold it to you should come forward anyway.

Here is info about how to do a hydrogen peroxide dip:

I been doing this for 30 years Ive seen a lot.
The thing is I have 600 frags in my tank right now and I dont have it . I also dont have that green stuff thats growing on the plug. I seen that stuff from poor water quality.I would be happy to help you out but i dont think you got that from me or I would have it. Give me a call and i will help you through.

It's funny how color me corals knows the cure ... Seeing that I got it from him

That green stuff aka bryopsis was def on that plug the second I put it into my tank .. The frag is in my qt tank along w alot of other softies no bryopsis in my tank other than what was on the plug from u... Also only white spot on zoas from u ... I bought 2 frags one is fine.. The other not so lucky ... I threw it in the garbage and took the loss ... Hopefully all my other zoas or any of my recent purchases won't become garbage as well ... Thank god for qt tanks :))))
