Hey guys!

Always wanted a Salt water tank and when helping my brother move 2 weeks ago saw his fresh water and decided it was time to bite the bullet and get one! Got myself a 46 gallon bow front tank with a fluval canister filter, Marine life led light with the day/ night settings, and a nice stand to finish it off. Set things up with the help of a few others and now have the tank up and going!

From here I plan to upgrade the lighting and switch to a sump set up with a skimmer so this new guy is on the search for those now! Have a few fish cruising the tank from clowns to a blue tang to my favorite being a corral beauty. Any help on good ways to set up the sump would be great and what to get as I am researching it now to pull the trigger asap on it.

BTW my name is James and am from St Charles

Welcome to CR. What do you mean by "good ways to set up the sump"? Do you mean where each chamber should go (diy setup) or how to connect it to your already running tank?
