Hi
My name Is Sil for short lots of people can't pronounce my name so that what i go as.
Also this is my 1st time posting, I am usually on here just looking at stuff and learning. I finally bought a 29gallon bio-cube that came upgraded already so it was interesting setting it up. I have two Black clowns that the guy I got it from gave to me. 28lb of live rock, and some coral. Also a cleaning crew and a goby that loves to clean the sand. I like the black clown but they are not the original fish i desired. I was refereed to by the owner of Exotic Aquatics in Virginia Rd in crystal lake. I pretty much have my tank set up to what i want, but i feel in reality I still feel like I am missing something. I upgraded the lighting in the tank so I have the light bulbs the guy just replaced that I can trade or just give away as my 1st free item.
Love my tank i cant stop looking at it, when I have time I will post some pics for my set up.

Yeah its real fun, kind of expensive but love my tank. My mom wont stay away from it also. Keeps me sane and relaxed when I am doing crazy hard Database management homework.

Here are some pics, it looks like I'm going to have to dial the blue down some.

I have two Panorama Pro Modules, one is the blue and white while the other is blue and magenta gives it a real nice shimmering effect. The corral did not look this good and they did not plume this well before hand. Also have a blue stunner for moon light. Real good especially keeping my blue maxima clam real happy. I upgraded the lights originally for the clam. Opens up real nice and love the colors. Also my tank was running at 82 degrees because of the lights and my galaxy did not look to good sometimes because of it. I can really afford a chiller so I looked in to cooling that tank down by changing the lights. Since they were the prominent source of heat in the tank. Right now I have dials to change the intensity of the lights, I have to get another jack for it because I want to split them up for different timers. Also I would not get them from any of the stores, buy them directly from the manufacturer. Free shipping also with your buy. At the stores they are priced at 98$ per panorama Module and around 50$ for a stunner. The stunners at the main sight are around 39$ for the panorama module and 69$ on the stunner. They are nice and allot better then before, my tank is running at 79 degrees right now. My galaxy coral does not look like is bubbling anymore because of this. Looks smooth now.

Yeah Keisha they are beautiful when they open up, I am in the process of training them to open during a normal viewing time. I feed them some brine-shrimp and they tend to open up.

Also the black clownfish are probably going to stay with me, I was just scalded by my gf. "how would you like it if your mom traded you in." My response was "She tried very hard but I always found my way back home"

I have to correct my post on the lights, Its 69$ for a panorama module, which is the bigger one and your main source of growth. and 39$ for the stunner which is just strip that gives you some good moon light.

Excellent start!! Got more than I had in my tank when I started. Did you say jeff at exotic aquatics turn you on to the tank or you were told to pay them a visit. Either way its a great place and family. I'm in lake in the hills/Algonquin. Don't be afraid to ask any questions or advice and don't take any sh** from any sore thumbs ;-). Good luck.
