High power led?

Looks interesting. I say give it a try and tell us how it goes ;).

But really, the spectrum covers the basics needed in reef capable LEDs. I've seen a lot of people go with just the whites and the blues with decent tanks, even in SPS. If you do do it, let me know how it works out and good luck.
 
So, this is just the chip, right? You still need to buy a driver, power supply, and heatsink? So this chip would be the equivalent of one of the rapid led pucks (that cost >$100)
 
The Cree XT-E can be driven up to 1500mA... I prefer 700-1000mA

Given the drive current and the efficiency/output the Cree in most cases is a better value.

Their White is also close to full spectrum.

Also look at available optics as they are a force multiplier and reduce the spill.
