HOB Bubbles... hate 'em

I've got a smaller tank, I'm doing the HOB fuge thing at the moment but the waterfall creates bubbles. Anyone have a decent recommendation on fighting this? Is it just life if I have a HOB unit or is there some decent mod? I may ditch it altogether and just put a basket in the tank for the chaeto and add another powerhead if that's what it takes.
 
I have an Aquaclear on my tank. As long as the water line is up near the rim, there are little to no bubbles.
 
I just remembered--I had this problem & had to order a new intake tube, because the other one had a crack in it & was sucking in air through the crack.
 
If its a tube return like a cbr then you can get a mesh pouch to put on it. I did this with mine and it stopped the micro bubbles after like a week or two or until it get some algae build up.
