Hi guys. As more I read more I get confused…There so much different info about that. What kind of dipp should I do before putting new coral in my display tank? Every Family of Corals need different dipp really. Is there a simple way to sort this out? Like Zoas they need dipp against Nudi mostly. What should I use for that? Acropora needs dipp against Red Bugs and Flat Worms, right? Whats the best for that? Interceptor, Bayer? Can anyone help me to sort it out? What you guys do? Thanks in advance.

I personally use Bayer. Many people use coral rx. Which ever product you choose use it. You are much better off dipping than not.

I've killed nudis never had to kill red bugs or anything else . But I've noticed many of dead bug on bottom of my cups. Can't b positive if rev bugs or anything else. Guess that's a good thing
 
The wag I started doing it is
If Lps or zoas or softies I acclimate them and use revive to dip them, then bag them up in fresh tank water and use a drop of flat worm exit and float them for an hour and then into the tank they go

If it's sps, the process is same except I use coralrx instead of revive

Only exception is soft skin acros, I just do a drop of flatworm exit while drip acclimating them and pray to god that there are no other pests lol
 
Thanks. can you tell me what kind of Bayer < I know its one from stores like Home Depot, but any specific one?> you use and what is the procedure.Thanks
