The bigger whiteish tube looks like a vermetid snail. The small tube with the fan sticking out of it is just a fan worm. Not sure which you were referring to.

thank you guys I just looked up vermetid snail and bingo thats what it is, now are they good or bad?

They're not bad in the sense that they do anything harmful, however they're well known to reproduce like crazy. If you only have a few, I wouldn't be too worried, but if they start growing in numbers, I'd start removing them to keep them in check. I don't believe there are any "reliable" predators that eat them.

They cast out likenets to trap food i had one got annoying always had a slime net out so i found a little snail shell and super glued it in the tube

yes slime.. I was wondering where it was coming from thanks for the info.

They are also hazardous to your hands. I've punctured my skin many times on these guys. I remove them with a screw driver every now and then. I hate the slime nets. They usually only slime when I stir up my sand bed.

I have a couple, the send out these slime lines when I feed. The two issues I've had is when the slime hits a polyp, temporarily closing it. Also had one bore through a couple of montipora pieces, just snapped the sections of and the SPS grew that area back.
