ID please?

I take it this is a bad thing it was one piece and about 18". It came in some live rock and sand that I got from a guy. When I tried to take it out it broke in half. It had little spikes all down its side. Maybe a HUGE bristle worm? I don't know, it was really nasty. I pitched it so I hope that's a good thing.

Hard to tell with pic looks a bit dry. You could be right on bristle worm tho. Looks like earth worm now lol.
