I'm building a 110 with a 40 gallon sump. I need a good skimmer (wife wants a quiet one!) with a small footprint. I was thinking of piping the output into the original overflow chamber to direct bubbles away from the refugium. Thoughts on skimmer type, and if plumbing to the return section works?
Note: will he titrating pump to approx 10x turnover. Will use power heads for flow, but like good contact time in the sump.
