Ideas on how to keep a rose bubble anemone from moving?

I have segregated a rock in the sand and it seemed to keep him isolated however recently he has began to try to moved off the rock and I am worried he will sting my corals I use 00 aragonite sand and water parameters are perfect

Have you tired using "the force" ? (sorry, couldn't resist) Nems move when they are not satisfied. Could be looking for more or less light, flow etc. I'm just guessing here but if he is on a rock on your sb then maybe he's looking for more light...?

+1 , anemone will move when not happy ( flow, light, etc.), there nothing you can do about it. When it finds its perfect spot it will stay there. Maybe give it more light like Eric said above. What lights are you using ?

I have a bubble tip that did not want to stay put when I first got him. I set him on my rock work and fed him a pinch of pellets every day for about a week. Then every other day and slowly weaned it off pellets. It's still in the same place 1 1/2 years later. I wish it would move. It's disc is about 10"across and some of the tentacles are as fat as my finger but he's attached to a huge rock that I can't remove.
Good Luck

+ 1. I have had BTA split where on goes for light the other half goes into low light. Hmmm? maybe that's why they split. Bipolar?

I'm pretty sure they see suppose to be fed maybe once or twice a week. Maybe I'm wrong... pellets is one thing but a cocktail shrimp is another. I feed mine pieces of shrimp once in a while. Small bit size pieces.

Good advice I will try to feed him again and if he continues I will move him.i use mh 150w 14k Phoenix will a anemone kill zoas?

IME each anemone has it's own personality... Some like high light. Some low... Same with flow.. But I found a great way to make them stay put is to feed them. Then they get fat and happy. Plus check your water quality because that can also be another reason it's not happy.

Because of how dangerous they are to coral makes me not the biggest fan of it but both my clowns are in love with the thing so i keep it got sick of it moving one night and was ready to give it away but my clowns were literally jumping out of the tank while I was attempting taking it out so I felt bad and put it back needy little guys

One other thing that hasn't been mention is BTA's like to dig their foot into holes in the rocks or under the rocks, that way if trouble comes they can shrink inside the rock. Make sure there is a nice crevice for the nem to hide in, otherwise put a few smaller rocks together where the one big rock is and that will create those crevices. Or put a smaller rock under the big rock to elevate it allowing the nems foot to go under the rock. I used Eggcrate to separate my nem from all my other rockwork until it took hold. GL.

Everybody thank you for the help unfortunately I had to take it too the lfs store caught it climbing on the sand towards my patches of utter chaos Rastas and fruit loops zoas and it had to go

that is why it is best to stock the tank inverts first then coral then fish that way the nem can find where its happy but +1 to what jm said ive had my rtba for 6 months now it moved 3" until it found a nice hole to plant its foot in and hasnt moved since and ive moved the rock around to different places in the tank and the nem hasnt moved

I have actually owned it for a few years and this kind of came out of nowhere and it would not eat and constantly moved so something was bothering it parameters are all good not sure what but it wasn't happy but better than having it kill my rare zoas
