So I was just browsing through this petstore looking at the puppys and to my surprise found an saltwater aquarium section... Was very shocked to find that they have a baby octopus bout 1" or less.. They were selling it for 60 bucks lol was so surprised that a petland store would carry such an awesome invert/fish.lol what was more awesome is that they fed it baby guppies.. Man those things are vicious lol but awesome.. Srry didn't take a pic.. Was to overwhelmed by seeing an octopus up close lol Anyway has anyone ever had one b4 jus curious to knw

You talking about aquarium adventure on golf? They regularly get in lots of neat / uncommon stuff. Gotta be careful about the place thou as they are hit or miss on pricing, some stuff is fair, others are so far out of the ballpark it's not even funny!

It probably came in as a liverock hitchhiker or a trade in. Feeding it guppies is bad for it. They should be feeding it shellfish. Petland isn't exactly known as a staple of marine animal health and knowledge.

no this is just petland store.. its off of rand road in arlington heights.. It was just awesome seeing one so small and up close.. Its crazy how they it they eat and capture thier prey..

yeah, petland is very pricey...lol and not a lot of the staff no anything about saltwater fish or anything lol.. It was just an interesting find.. Dnt see much of those around.lol

Ahh cool. I didn't even know the petland / Petco / petsmart stores even had saltwater livestock in their brick and mortar stores anymore. All the ones around me just have freshwater stuff.

yeah they actual had a good mini stock of stuff.. Some clowns tangs blennys gobies damsels puffers and more... Was really surprised

We shop at Petland in Rockford, IL and the guy who runs that fish department there with a pretty good saltwater selection is a reefer and brings in stuff from his own tank.
